Pitch to your boss
Get senior team buy in from the start as you will need their help/expertise to complete the assessment.
Engage your team
More hands makes lighter work! If you're a larger company you will need info from various departments (e.g. HR, Legal etc...)
Do a first pass at the BIA
Complete as much of the BIA as you can and bookmark questions to come back to later.
Tip: Get someone senior to do the first pass as they will likely have access to more info needed
Do final pass at BIA
Collect documents and improve score
Collect missing info from team members and if your score is below 80 set goals to improve
Tip: Assign questions/sections to other team members
Add in new info from improvements and collected documents. If >80 submit, if below 80 improve your score
Tip: Allow time for score improvements
Your assessment has been verified, your score is +80 points, pay the annual fee and make your certification official!
